The classical Chinese calligraphy of Peimin Ni, coupled with the philosophical verse of Stephen Rowe will be on display in a new exhibit, Action of Non-Action: East and West in Calligraphy and Verse in the Performing Arts Center art gallery.
Both Ni and Rowe are philosophy professors at Grand Valley. The pair are publishing a book, Wandering: Brush and Pen in Philosophical Reflection.
The show runs through February 8. There is an opening reception for the exhibition on January 10 from 5-7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center gallery.
