The GVSU Marching Band will perform in the Pontiac Silverdome on Monday, October 8, during the Detroit Lions-St. Louis Rams game.
Barry Martin, associate professor of music and band director, said the Laker band will perform during pre-game and halftime ceremonies. The nationally televised game will begin at 9 p.m.
The band has made two previous appearances at Lions games, in 1996 and 1999.
