Celebrating the formal conversion of Old Kent Bank to Fifth Third Bank, Kevin Kabat (left), president of Fifth Third Bank (Western Michigan), presents a gift of $100,000 to GVSU President Mark A. Murray. The gift, targeted for GVSU's Center for Health Professions and Lake Michigan Center, was the largest single donation given during the week of September 24 as Fifth Third made contributions to a number of local non-profits.
