Two Awards for Our Students at the 10th Annual Midwest Graduate Research Symposium (MGRS)

Good news: Dr. Tusch went with four students to the 10th Annual Midwest Graduate Research Symposium (MGRS) 2019 at the University of Toledo. They presented three posters on my current student research projects. Two of the posters won an award:

  1. “An Efficient Method for Indexing Temporal Gene Expression Datasets” presented by HIB students Shawn Oliai and Casimir Tokarski won the outstanding presentation award,
  2. “A Critical Success Factor Model to Assess Quality Initiatives in Healthcare” presented by CIS student Jidnyasa Mantri (research together with Greg Schymik) won 3rd place in the poster category.

On the picture all poster presenters, from left to right: Wanda Sankey, Shawn Oliai, Casimir Tokarski, Guenter Tusch, Jidnyasa Mantri.
