The Job of Getting a Job - RSVP required

WIB's Oct. 5th, 2021 event "The Job of Getting a Job" workshop is led by Prof. Paul Hillman. In this one-hour workshop, prof. Hillman will go through the ins and outs of LinkedIn, including (but not limited to) which sections of LinkedIn to edit, what to write, and how to "mine" your contacts and how to reach out to potential recruiters.

Professor Paul Hillman's bio: Paul graduated from Michigan State with a business degree and started his career in supply chain in Detroit. After a brief stint in banking, he joined the nationally known accounting firm Seidman & Seidman (family firm of L. William Seidman, of which our business school is named after) which eventually became BDO. He left BDO with two other professionals and started the firm Conway, Dierking & Hillman, a technology consulting firm. He was the managing partner of C/D/H for 25 years until he sold the company in 2014, when he became a professor here at GVSU.
