Science on Tap, co-sponsored by GVSU and SpeakEZ Lounge, is an opportunity for conversation, debate and interaction between scientists and the public while drinking beer. Each month at SpeakEZ, a knowledgeable expert hosts a scientific discussion about current topics in the news such as ebola and the paleo diet. This is a great chance to exercise your academic interests in a casual setting while enjoying great food and adult beverages. Please find the information for September's Science On Tap below:

Speakers: Lissa Tallman and Laura Stroik, Dept. of Biomedical Sciences, Grand Valley State University

Event Description:

Have you ever wondered why you get hiccups? Or, why some people have wisdom teeth while others don’t? Or, why some people feel the urge to pee when they press on their belly buttons?! Come hear the amazing anatomical answers to these questions from (who better to ask than?) anatomists!

Please submit your anatomical questions via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/scienceontapgrandrapids) before September 6! No anatomy topic is off limits.
