Outdoor Adventures Meetup #1 - GVSU

The Outdoor Adventures (OA) Hangout is a bi-weekly (every other week) social gathering for students who enjoy outdoor and adventure-based activities. It's organized by the Recreation & Wellness Outdoor Adventures program as an opportunity to connect outdoorsy students with one another through local exploration and informal activities. The meetup locations and activities are expected to vary each time. Registration won't normally be necessary unless we have limited resources for the activity or for whatever reason need a headcount.

This Event

Sunday, January 23, 3:30pm-5:30pm; Hike + hangout
Plan on a simple hike somewhere on-campus. If there is sufficient snow (>3") we'll provide snowshoes. Afterwards, join us in Kirkhof for a hot beverage & games. RSVP required in case snowshoes are needed.

This one does have a small fee for the ski rentals but we can provide snowshoes at no charge if preferred. See the Event Calendar posting for details/ registration.

Sunday, March 6, Spring Break!
While not technically planned as a "hangout", we hope you'll consider joining us for one of our two SB offerings. We'll be heading to northern Alabama for a hiking/ camping trip and to northwest Arkansas for a rock climbing trip.
