Friday, February 23, 2024
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Allendale Campus
Alumni, Community, Faculty, Staff, Students

This Open Door Discussion aims to discuss the social construction of identity labels and umbrella terms and how they create both new room and limitations for identity. We'll discuss how people identify both within and outside of terms like being queer and concepts like being transgender and talk about what that means for our own identities. This INT 100/201 approved, student-led discussion will consist of a presentation integrated with full audience discussion. There will be a Zoom option available - email Joey at [email protected] for the link.
