We are so excited to see all of you at our very first auditions in the dance studio (FH 160), January 21-22 from 5:30-8 pm!

****Make sure to be there at 5pm to check-in and warm up!!!

TO REGISTER: Email us @ [email protected] with your full name, graduation date, and phone number!

Be prepared:

-to learn three short combinations (jazz, lyrical/contemporary, and turns)

-show off your technique with across the floor drills (leaps, pirouettes)

-have any special skills warmed up and ready to show off!

Day 1 will consist of a technique evaluation, learning the combinations, and a round of cuts

Day 2 you will perform the combinations learned on day 1 and have a short interview session

Our practice days for the winter semester are:

Tuesdays: 8-9:45 pm

Sundays: 7-9 pm

Grand Valley Elite Dance is a student organization for advanced dancers proficient in lyrical, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance styles. Our goal as a club is to provide dancers to learn from different choreographers in a team-like setting through master classes, attending conventions, learning group choreography, and providing a variety of technique and conditioning classes. This organization requires dancers to go through an audition process to attain group membership. This allows dancers in our club to be challenged in an advanced setting with a close team aspect.
