Join the Area & Global Studies department for a panel on the rise of China and what that might mean for different regions across the globe.
Dr. Maura Cunningham (University of Michigan’s Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies and co-author of "China in the 21st Century: What Everyone Needs to Know") will open this panel, GVSU's Dr. Jack Mangala will moderate, and a slate of scholars will speak on how China's changing geopolitical position has affected Africa, the Middle East, East Asia, and Latin America.
