This meeting took place on January 13, 2016 in 3001 SCB. It was an e-board meeting, so most of the e-board members, new and old, were present. There were 12 members in attendance. The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
This meeting was the transition meeting and the beginning of the semester meeting. During this meeting, Professor Knoll went over the upcoming events we had for this semester and what companies would be presenting at each meeting. We talked about fundraising options and how we need to increase the amount of fundraising we should be doing in the coming semesters. This also entailed the possibility of increasing the dues that members pay each semester to be a member of ESSU. We also discussed the Cargill trip that is coming up and the logistics of the trip. Also, we made sure we had coverage for the Seidman Life Days and Campus Night Life 2.0 events. After these discussions, the current e-board members, and the future e-board members met up and discussed and explained the roles that the new e-board members will have. They will now be shadowing the old members until the end of the semester and helping with the duties tied specifically to their position.
