ESSU Board Meeting 11/4/15
Tonight we had a meeting for just members of the E-board. At this meeting, we discussed how we thought this semester was going and any concerns or suggestions that we had. We also discussed elections and events for the winter semester. We have a majority of our events already planned for the winter semester including two more ERP Speaker Series and a diversity event. We also discussed as a group that we want to partner with the Women in Computing during the winter semester. We hope to co-host an event with them. This will allow collaboration between the two organizations.
We decided to have elections for all six elect positions on December 2nd including President Elect, Vice President Elect, Chief Marketing Officer Elect, Chief Information Officer Elect, Chief Financial Officer Elect, and Chief Programming Elect. Since all of our E-board members will be graduating this April, this will allow the new E-board members to shadow the current members for the winter semester. Next fall, all of these new E-board elect members will take over the main positions.
We are all excited to welcome new members to the E-board and show them the ropes next semester. This was a very successful meeting.
