Participants of this instructional strategies workshop will learn 5 different methodologies that explicitly teach skills that English Language Learners (ELLs) need to build more vocabulary knowledge, improve their writing and reading techniques, and discover engaging ways to communicate. One method will specifically show participants how to teach verb tenses in a particular order with a specific plan. Other strategies modeled will teach participants how to build student academic language, conversation, and reasoning skills to help English Language Learners (ELL) students succeed. The foundation of some of these strategies is based from the Clark's consulting team.
