Research Matters is a series of courses designed for faculty and staff who engage with the grants and contracts process. The diverse course content will engage the attendee in the entire project lifecycle and provide valuable resources for developing and supporting research at the university.

Session 1: What is a Sponsored Program? 

This course will focus on defining a sponsored program, the overall pre-award process, types of submissions and common submission components.

All sessions in the fall semester are from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. The first three sessions will be held in 303C DeVos Center and the final three will be held on the Allendale campus in 3062 JHZ. Online course participation will also be an option for those who cannot attend in person.
