CME
Continuing Medical Education (CMEs) credits for the DeVos Medical Ethics Colloquy are approved through Spectrum Health. Attendance and verification are now handled electronically.
Individuals must text their attendance as indicated below.
If you do not already have an account with Spectrum Health CloudCME you must create one first using the link below.
Claiming credit:
Step 1: (New Users) Create an account in Spectrum Health CloudCME system: Go to the website indicated below and click "Sign Up Now."
Step 2: Before you text your attendance verification, there is a one-time process to link your phone with your Spectrum account. Text your email address to (844) 420-1171. You will receive a message confirming your phone # has been updated.
Step 3: When a learner arrives for a session, they must text in their attendance to (844) 420-1171 with the event ID number. Participants may text their attendance 30 minutes before the event, during the event, and up to 12 hours after the event through this process. This step simply records your attendance at the session. (This replaces the sign-in sheet or reporting from the online platform.)
After the learner has recorded their attendance by the above method, learners have 30 days to go in and complete the evaluation to receive credit. Just texting their attendance does not give them credit. They must complete the evaluation by going into the App or logging into a computer and going to the portal site. To access evaluations, they go to the evaluation tab.
