 The Barbara Jordan Award

Named to celebrate Texas congresswoman Barbara Jordan, this award honors a person on GVSU's campus who has been a long-time advocate of women, women's issues, and the Women and Gender Studies program, and who has bridged the gap between traditional academic fields and women's and gender studies.
