The Regional Math and Science Center (RMSC), serves students, teachers, parents, school districts, business and industry, and other organizations interested and involved in mathematics and science education. The RMSC provides a mosaic of mathematics and science services to Kent, Ottawa, and Montcalm counties including:

  • Teacher Opportunities:  Various STEM professional learning opportunities are available through the Regional Math and Science Center.  We facilitate various state-wide programs along with opportunities designed specifically for your district.

    • Professional Learning: 3 Act Tasks, NGSX, Fall Science Update

    • Curriculum Support: including information on Michigan’s standards

    • Resources: links and information on Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, Michigan Mathematics and Science Centers Network

  • Student Opportunities: links and information on Michigan Science Olympiad, Super Science Saturday, Energy Saturday 

  • Community Connections: (Partnerships)
