Energizing Our World Saturday


Energizing Our World Saturday is a one-day camp program designed to introduce students currently in grades 6th through 8th to the power of sustainable energy and its applications to various fields.

The camp will be held at GVSU’s Allendale Campus on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.  The cost of the camp is $10 and includes a t-shirt, lunch, and snacks.

Students will participate in a large group introduction followed by breakout sessions providing them with opportunities to interact with solar, wind, hydro power energy, and much more! Content of the event is targeted at students who have not attended previously.

GVSU students needed to volunteer!

Are you interested in renewable energy?  Do you enjoy working with middle school aged students? Come help at Energizing Our World, a one-day camp being offered by Grand Valley State University and the Regional Math and Science Center.  GVSU student volunteers will be supervising students and chaperoning them in groups through fun and engaging activities facilitated by Grand Valley State University faculty.

Get free food and a free t-shirt for helping out!

The camp will be held at GVSU’s Allendale Campus and will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm.  GVSU student volunteers are needed for the entire day.
