Energizing Our World Camp
Thank you for everyone who applied to attend camp. The camp and waiting list are currently full, and you should have received confirmation of your status. If you have not received notice on your application, please email or call the Regional Math and Science Center. We look forward to seeing everyone in June!
Energizing Our World is a three-day camp designed to spark interest in renewable energy. Students will participate in activities that provide hands-on experiences with a variety of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydro power.
Students will participate in a large group introduction followed by breakout sessions providing them with opportunities to interact with solar, wind, and hydro power energy.
The application is now closed for prospective students. Preference will be given to students living in the Grand Rapids Public Schools and Wyoming Public Schools. Completed application forms must be received no later than April 30, 2017.

If you are interested in future programming, please consider attending Energizing Our World Saturday on October 14, 2017.
Participants must be between the ages of 12 and 15, currently enrolled in the 7th or 8th grade, and be entering 8th or 9th grade in Fall 2017.
Supervision and Meals
There will be at least one counselor for every eight students. Lunch and snacks are provided each day.
It is free to attend Energizing Our World.
Transportation may be available based on need for students in the Grand Rapids Public Schools and Wyoming Public Schools districts.
