GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY
PHYSICAL THERAPY ALUMNI CHAPTER

PT LOGO

Welcome to the Grand Valley State University Physical Therapy Alumni Chapter!

(Membership is absolutely free and voluntary, continue reading below for details.)

Initial interest from the PT Class of 2000 and supporting faculty started the ball rolling to develop an organization specifically designed for GVSU PT alumni. With a mission, four simple goals, and bylaws, the Physical Therapy Alumni Chapter was voted into the GVSU Alumni Association on May 20, 2000. Now that we have support, we are looking to get everybody together to have some fun with our new group.

ALUMNI NEWS AND INFORMATION

Hello PT Alumni!

The GVSU Physical Therapy Alumni Chapter is in full swing and looking to gather up its members - that means you! Join us today by signing up on-line at . (Follow web-site to Alumni Relations, Chapters, Physical Therapy.) Anyone who is a graduate of the GVSU PT program can participate in and benefit from the opportunities of this chapter. Also, it's a great way to keep in touch with old friends, form new friendships, and develop professional contacts.

The Physical Therapy Alumni Chapter was started in 2000 and is supported by the Class of 2000, the faculty of the physical therapy program, and the Alumni Relations Office. Since then, we have tried to gather a database of PT graduates, develop an interactive web-site, and host Alumni Events geared towards the interests of our alumni.

The chapter is dependent on alumni involvement and initiative in order to grow. There are many opportunities for you to get involved from as simple as signing-up on our web site, to being your class representative, to assisting in organizing a professional/social event. I invite you to get involved in anyway possible to help make this a successful chapter.

Here's to making this chapter meaningful to the PT Alumni,

Nancy Baarman, Class of 2000

Alumni Mentoring Program

We are embarking on a new venture to work and keep in touch with the alumni and to offer valuable resources for our current students.  Every year we graduate skilled health professionals who are seeking employment opportunities, eager to apply their state-of-the-art training.  Our alumni mentors serve as points of contact for our students as they explore professional avenues.  We hope you will choose to join this important effort.  As alumni of the PT program, your talents and time are a valuable resource for the continued success of our students.
