Description

As part of our ongoing commitment to promote diversity within the legal profession, Warner Norcross & Judd LLP announces the 10th annual LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship program. The program provides scholarships, up to $1,500 each, to enable minority college students to participate in a study course to prepare them to take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT).

Scholarships will cover the cost of tuition for an LSAT Preparation Course offered by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Students generally take the LSAT exam in June before beginning their senior year or in September of their senior year. The LSAT classroom preparation course consists of 14 sessions (ten teaching sessions and four exam sessions). Online courses are also available. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a Michigan resident or currently attending a Michigan college or university
  • Be a junior or a senior during the 2016-2017 academic year
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Have a demonstrated financial need
  • Take the LSAT prep course by December 1, 2017
     

A copy of the LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship Application Form is attached below. Applications are also available online. The deadline for submission of the completed application, including the completed Financial Information Form, is April 30, 2017.
