Asian Pacific American Heritage Celebration Asian Pacific Americans are one of the most highly diversified ethnic groups in the United States with more than 50 distinct ethnicities, languages, religions and cultures. The Asian Pacific American Heritage celebration at Grand Valley takes place in February and encompasses a variety of cultural events, professional speakers, Chinese New Year festival, arts and music. Recognizing and celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and the rich cultures of this fastest growing community demonstrates Grand Valley's commitment to embracing and promoting diversity.
