The L.V. Eberhard Center is located on the Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University, and in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, this facility provides the perfect meeting space for your next function.  Our highly experienced staff provide comprehensive event management services to guide you in the planning and implementation of your event.

The upscale event spaces in this facility can accommodate groups from 5 to 500 guests.  The multi-purpose room, auditorium, and corporate meeting rooms lend themselves for a wide variety of event functions.  Whether you are planning a conference, meeting, corporate retreat or banquet, Grand Valley State University's Eberhard Center conference facilities are an excellent choice.

Located in downtown Grand Rapids, the Richard M. DeVos Center serves as the heart of the Pew Campus.  With its vibrant community of student and academic life, the DeVos Center is home to the University Bookstore, Plaza Cafe, Student Services Office, and multiple meeting and event spaces.  Supporting the academic mission of Grand Valley State University, DeVos Center facilities provide a venue for university business and entertaining, and other professional or community education.

All events held in the DeVos Center must be academically related,
 or have a business related/community focus.

L. Willliam Seidman Center

The four-story, 127,643 square foot building features a state of the art Tilkin Financial Markets Center, case rooms, 15 breakout team rooms for student interaction, and an accounting tutoring lab.  The center includes nine Bloomberg computer terminals where students can monitor and access stock market action.  It also has an interactive flat screen TV which also displays financial data.  Three innovative cluster classrooms have tables with chairs that can easily be rotated to allow the class to break down to do group learning exercises.

Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences

Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences

Located on the "Medical Mile" on Michigan Street, the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences takes our health education and research initiatives to a higher level. The Conference and Event Planning office provides support for our internal faculty, staff and student meetings and events, as well as the education and health care community members.  The event spaces in the facility accommodate groups as small as 5 and as large as 150 and are available for a variety of uses to community events with a health related focus, and Grand Valley groups. The private meeting rooms, multi-purpose room and formal auditorium lend themselves for a variety of functions.

All events held in the Center for Health Sciences must be academically related or have a health/medical related community focus.
Our staff will assist you in determining the best  campus location for your event.
Our concentration is that of an academic facility accommodating students and we will use our discretion to determine what event is best suited for the facility.

All catering arrangements for meetings and events are handled through our offices by our experienced and knowledgeable staff. From boxed lunches to formal receptions, we are able to accommodate all of your catering needs. The building also houses The Recovery Room Cafe, by Bagel Beanery. The cafe, located in the lobby level, serves specialty coffee beverages, bagels, bagel sandwiches, Panini's, snacks, desserts and various other food and beverage items.

Not only does the Center bring together all of our health-related programs in a state-of-the-art facility, it serves as a catalyst for establishing unique partnerships with area hospitals, research organizations, and health care professionals. Students will enjoy the advanced learning opportunities made possible by these joint ventures.  Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences is home to Grand Valley's health curriculum, including the Kirkhof College of Nursing, and the College of Health Professions

The Bicycle Factory

The Bicycle Factory

The Bicycle Factory is located on the south edge of campus.  It sits on the historical site of the Grand Rapids Bicycle Factory which burned to the ground in February of 2007.  
This building was opened in March 2009 by McGraw Construction.  GVSU leases to own two floors in the building which equal 26,000 square feet.

This building contains:

  • 2 Conference Rooms
  • 3 Training Rooms
  • LEED certified
