Grand Valley State University’s “Laker Club” is a Limited-Service meeting room option for Faculty & Staff conducting University business.  This is a limited-service room.  No University staff is on site for this self-contained space.   

Reservations:
The Laker Club is available for Faculty/Staff use for meetings and events. 
Reservations are required for use.

How to Access the Space:

Monday-Thursday: 8am-10am & 3pm-8pm
Friday:                     8am-8pm                                

Please allow time for setup and clean up during your reservation time. 
Exterior doors are unlocked based on reservation times.

Outside Normal Business Hours:
If you plan to use the building when the door is locked, please contact Conference & Event Planning at (616)-331-6624 or email at [email protected] to make arrangements. Saturday and Sunday reservations are not available currently. 

Room Set-up:
Space has tables and chairs for (52) guests.  There is soft seating available around the fireplace as well for a total seating capacity of (58).  If you choose to move tables and chairs for your meeting, please return the space to the original set when your meeting is completed.

Audio-Visual:

• No Audio-Visual Equipment is available in the Laker Club.  If AV is needed for your meeting, you are welcome to provide your own. 
• There is no screen or flat surface to project on.
• Please note there are limited power outlets in the space.
• GVSU Wi-Fi is available.
• Music will be turned off for all meetings.  If you would like the music on during your event, please contact Conference & Event Planning to arrange.

Room Set-up:
The standard set for this room is as is.  You are welcome to arrange the furniture to best suit the needs of your meeting, however please return the room to its standard set before you leave. See Set-Up 

Food Service:
All food service must be arranged through Classic Fare Catering.

Location & Parking:
Located in Commons (10830 N Campus Drive  Allendale, MI 49401 - Map). Enter at the north side of the building, across from Mackinac Hall.
The nearest GV parking lot is lot D.  Guests must have a permit to park in this lot.  If you have off-campus attendees, please arrange for parking passes at
Parking Services - Grand Valley State University.
