Through intricate relationships between video and objects, her installations raise questions and evoke complex feelings regarding social institutions and cultural privilege. Kim’s recent work, Giggling Babies is a five-panel video installation consisting of large-scale video projections of joyful babies and colorful fabrics. Each of the five window panels is 7 feet tall and 4 feet wide. "Giggling Babies" can be viewed--and heard--from the River Walk between the Blue Bridge and the Fulton St. Bridge from September 23 - October 10.
