Never be afraid to ask for something.  The worst thing that could happen is they'll say no and if they say "no" you won't be any worse off than when you started.  Besides, they just might (and often do) say "yes".

Laura Walsh

Location: Los Angelos, CA
Email: loubean79@hotmail.com

Information: After graduation, worked on an intrernship for The Young and the Restless at CBS. Currently working in production office as production assistant and loving it.  Hopes to move into editing.
Words of Wisdom: My advice for students would be don't be afraid to try anything. I had always hoped to move out to California to pursue television, but at the time of graduation wasn't sure if I had what it takes. When the opportunity for the internship came up I could turn it down. I decided just to go for it and see what would happen. Almost two years later, I am working with some of the top people in the industry and learning more everyday.
