1. What if I have fulfilled 6 credits of the old requirements but haven't yet fulfilled the Psychology category-does this mean I can take one less class than I had planned?  No, you still have to show at least 33 credits for the degree.  You may use your "extra" 3 credits to fulfill other emphasis requirements or as an elective if your advisor approves.

2. What if I have fulfilled all 9 credits from the old requirements-have I taken more than I now need?  No, you would still have to show at least 33 credits for the degree.

3. What if I haven't finished my foundations requirements yet-may I still choose from the old list?   No, you should choose from the new list.  All new courses will fulfill the necessary foundations requirements.

4. What if my situation isn't addressed here?  If you have any other questions, you must contact your advisor.

*   Some M.Ed. degree programs require more than 33 credits.
