Description
In this lecture and book-signing event, author and scholar Wendy Doniger will speak about her experiences of getting her book, The Hindus: An Alternative History, withdrawn from publication in India because it offended a group of right-wing Nationalists. She will speak on the challenges of discussing sensitive topics in the study of religion, especially Hinduism.
