Lakerpalooza has become an annual tradition at GVSU that celebrates the end of the school year through the performances of student and local musicians, as well as giving you the opportunity to enjoy a variety of other events with your fellow Lakers. It is the grand finale of ExtravaGRANDza week, a series of fun and memorable events lasting from April 13 to April 19 that are sure to end your year with a bang.

This year’s Lakerpalooza featured musicians will be The Skinny Limbs, Brother Elsey, Hexing, Blanco Suave, Rendered Worthless, Balloonboy, Birdie Country, and No Fun Club. The event will take place on April 19 from 5 - 9 p.m. in the Fieldhouse Circle Drive (right outside the Fieldhouse). You can look forward to free carnival food, a variety of impressive circus acts, a dunk tank, and more. You’ll be able to finish the night off with the Amateur Drag Show that will take place in Cook-Dewitt from 9 - 11 p.m., right after the conclusion of the other Lakerpalooza festivities. Lakerpalooza is the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy the sunshine and make lasting memories with your friends before parting ways for the summer.

Lakerpalooza is a one-day festival packed full of things to do and ways to celebrate the coming of summer. Come support local musicians, dance with friends, eat food, and party like a Laker. For more information, visit the ExtravaGRANDza website.
