Host a Blood Drive and Save Lives

Give back to the community in a NEW way next school year! Consider hosting a blood drive with the Community Service Learning Center!

Did you know that for every pint of blood donated, THREE lives can be saved? Even better — did you know that to date GVSU Blood Drives have collected 523 pints of blood, saving 1,569 lives? Want to be part of that next year? Host a blood drive with the Community Service Learning Center!

The Community Service Learning Center is seeking student organizations to host blood drives with either the American Red Cross or Michigan Blood. Each organization has different roles for its volunteers, but by working with the CSLC, we make it easy to host a blood drive. In fact, let’s outline how simple it is:

Step 1:

Visit the Blood Drive Host Organization Application Form site to pick your date for next year! 

Step 2:

Receive an email from the CSLC confirming the date of your blood drive!

Step 3:

Add the date to your calendar and wait to be contacted this fall with reminders!
