Treat yo' self! ExtravaGRANDza will soon be here to celebrate the end of the semester, and your hard work has not gone unnoticed! De-stress with a week of food trucks, activities, crafts, and more from April 18–22.


1. Flower Pot Decorating

Monday, April 18, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Spring into spring by decorating a mini flower pot. Join the Campus Activities Board in the Kirkhof lobby to bloom a beautiful creation.

2. Friendship Bracelet Making

Tuesday, April 19, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Grab your besties and head to the Kirkhof Center lobby to make friendship bracelets!

3. Tie-Dye

Wednesday, April 20, 6–8 p.m.

Add a pop of color to your exam cram with a tie-dye project. Bring an item of your choice to tie-dye on the Kirkhof lawn, or use one of the available free t-shirts. Whether you want to remix an old t-shirt or make a scrunchie more unique, tie-dying is the best day to unwind and celebrate all of your accomplishments this year!

4. Bandana and Grad Cap Decorating

Thursday, April 21, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Cap off a great semester with cap decorating. If you are graduating this semester and want to add a personal touch to your day of celebration, visit the Kirkhof lawn decorate your graduation cap. Not graduating yet? Bring a bandana to decorate and wear to Lakerpalooza!

5. Lakerpalooza

Friday, April 22, 5–9 p.m.

Treat yourself at the end of the week to a night of fun activities around campus at Lakerpalooza! Enjoy inflatables, food trucks, amusement park rides, and a caricature artist available all day! Stand-up comedian Kiry Shabazz will be there too at 6 p.m., so do not miss out!


After working hard all semester, it's time to have fun. Take this time to look back and celebrate all you have accomplished. Take this time for yourself. You deserve it!
