Oh no. The end of the semester is fast approaching, and that means you are overwhelmed by 5 upcoming exams, 9 papers, 17 group projects, and to top it off, you’re running out of time to hang out with friends before you all part ways for summer. Have no fear, ExtravaGRANDza is here! ExtravaGRANDza is a fun-filled week of events that will help you de-stress and spend time with your fellow Lakers.

Join us from April 13 through April 19 for events you won’t forget, starting with the Silent Disco on Saturday, April 13 at 9 p.m. on the Kirkhof Lawn. You will receive a pair of headphones that allows you to listen to the music of one of the three event DJs, so you’ll be able to dance with your friends AND listen to the music you prefer!

On Monday, April 15, head to ExtravaGRANDza’s Grocery Bingo event in Pere Marquette at 7 p.m. You’ll be able to chill with your friends, play some Bingo, and have the opportunity to win bags of free groceries! Other events include a hilarious performance by comedian and juggler Marcus Monroe, the annual Toast with T. Haas that celebrates this semester’s GV grads, and Goat Yoga. What?? Goats do yoga? No, you’ll learn real yoga from (human) instructors whilst in the company of live goats. You have GOAT to be there!

The week concludes with Lakerpalooza, Grand Valley’s annual outdoor music festival event. Come dance to the live music of student and local bands, enjoy free food, and be entertained by various circus acts like live fire breathers. It’s going to be the HOTTEST event of the semester!
