Dream Job, Here I Come! GVSU’s Fall Career & Internship Fair

Ready to take the skills you learned at Grand Valley and apply them to the real world? Excited to dive into the job market once you graduate? The GVSU Fall 2019 Career & Internship Fair is the perfect opportunity to get started on the journey towards your dream job.

It’s no secret that finding a job after college can be difficult for many students. Thankfully, the Grand Valley State University Fall 2019 Career & Internship Fair is here to give you the resources and information you need to start the journey towards your dream job! On Wednesday, October 16, Grand Valley will be hosting the biannual Career & Internship Fair at the DeVos Convention Center in downtown Grand Rapids from 1-5 p.m.

200+ Employers
Are expected at this year's Career Fair!

Over 200 employers will be offering thousands of positions to students, many of which are immediate openings. This event is the perfect opportunity for you to network with potential employers from all over the nation. Various corporations will be offering job positions, internships, fellowships, volunteer opportunities, and so much more. Companies will be representing all different industries including insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, and even forestry! Businesses will be coming from Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Detroit, Traverse City, Nashville, and Cincinnati, presenting you with a diverse range of locations.

No car? No problem!
The 50 bus will take you to the DeVos Convention Center.

If you don’t have a car of your own to get to the fair, don’t fret! The 50 will be able to take you straight from the Allendale campus to the Devos Convention Center. You’re encouraged to bring your resume and dress in your best business attire. The career fair will also be offering free professional headshots, so make sure your hair is combed and you don’t spill coffee all over your nice business jacket.
