Are you beary, beary excited for this year’s Spring Concert? If you like music, dancing, and singing along at the top of your lungs, come see the one and only blackbear at GVSU this Thursday! GV’s annual Spring Concert will take place in the Fieldhouse on Thursday, April 4. The show starts at 8 p.m. and the doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets for the public are available online for $25, but Lakers can get them online for just $10!

The Spring Concert at GV is an extremely popular tradition that has been alive and thriving for years. GVSU has been fortunate enough to host famous bands in past years such as All Time Low, Dan + Shay, Hoodie Allen, David Nail, Justin Moore, Bo Burnham, and HELLOGOODBYE. This year we are proud to host blackbear.

blackbear, whose real name is Matthew Tyler Musto, is a successful rapper, singer, musician, and music producer raised in Florida. He’s 28 years old and, if you’re the type of person who’s interested, is a Sagittarius. He began publishing his music online in 2013 and is now an international superstar. He has worked with A-list celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Machine Gun Kelly, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, and many more. Some of his most popular songs include “Do Re Mi” and “Idfc”. But I’m sure you already knew that. You will have the opportunity to see him live this spring without even leaving the comfort of campus. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
