Presidents’ Ball is back and better than ever! Come join your fellow Lakers and President Mantella herself for one of the university's classiest annual events. There will be plenty of dancing, fun, friends, and food! Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about the dance and how to get tickets!
A Grand New Era
The 2020 Presidents’ Ball will take place on Friday, Jan. 31 at the DeVos Place Ballroom in Grand Rapids. This year, expect an elegant experience as the theme is “A Grand New Era”! We are celebrating the beginning of a new decade and a new GV president with a 1920s jazz club-inspired night out. All Lakers are encouraged to attend the evening’s swingin’ party, and it will certainly be one to remember.
Dance the Night Away
This ritzy night will begin with a dinner and then we’ll open up the dance floor for you and your friends to show off your moves. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their most elegant attire. Feel free to embrace the 1920s theme with your outfit or do your own thing. Get all dolled up for the big night, then bring a date or come with friends! Buses will be running from Allendale straight to DeVos to make sure you don’t miss the biggest social event of the year.
