PSM Showcase 2023

The PSM Showcase 2023, held at Shape Corp Innovation Design Center on December 1st, was a triumph, featuring engagement with 20 employers and facilitating invaluable connections between PSM students and industry professionals. The addition of employer tables provided an intimate setting for students to discuss career opportunities and company cultures directly with representatives.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Employee of the
Year award for 2022-2023 to Dematic, acknowledging their exceptional
commitment to PSM interns. Dean Plotkowski and PSM Director Anirudh
Chowdhary presented the award to Anita Charles, a representative from
Dematic, marking a moment of pride and recognition for Dematic's
outstanding contributions.
This event also showcased the impactful work of Statistics and
Data Science and Analytics majors through compelling poster
presentations, offering insights into their internship experiences and
real-world applications of their skills. The event successfully
bridged the gap between academia and industry, celebrating the
achievements of students and fostering collaborative efforts between
educational institutions and industry partners. Gratitude is extended
to all employers, students, faculty, and staff who played pivotal
roles in making the PSM Showcase a tremendous success, setting the
stage for continued collaboration and success in the future.
