Urban Native American Experience Project Begins Collecting Oral Histories

On Saturday, February 28, the "Gigikino-maage-min: Defend Our History, Unlock Your Spirit" project began collecting its first oral histories. Still in its planning phase, the project aims to collect memories from Native Americans about their experiences in Grand Rapids, Michigan from the federal relocation period through the present day.
