Log in to Emma

For security reasons, access is being migrated from using Emma-specific logins to individual GVSU network accounts.

If your Emma password still works, your access has not been updated yet.

If you're sharing a login or using a department email address, you'll need to be set up with your own access. (Try logging in following the procedure below first. Many departments' users have already been given individual access.)

How to log into Emma with your network account:

  • Go to https://my.gvsu.edu/ and log in.
  • On the “My Apps” screen, find the Emma logo. (It’s probably toward the bottom of the list.)
  • When you click the Emma logo, you’ll be logged in to Emma via your GVSU network account. 

Tip: If you click your name in the upper right corner of https://my.gvsu.edu then click "Preferences", there's a slider to enable "Recently used". This brings the Emma logo to the top of the screen after you've visited it once, making it much easier to find going forward!
