Description
System Fiction/System Fact
Bias, Creativity and Breaking Convention
What is our fascination with the prefix "Re"? We want to "re-open", "re-build" and "re-construct". The inclusion of a simple prefix narrows perspective and predefines outcomes. See what happens when we break convention, expand perspectives and focus on building over rebuilding.
Our unique workshop is designed to influence attitudes and behaviors while kickstarting innovation and creativity in D.E.I spaces. Through a blend of lecture, group discussion/collaboration and design thinking, this workshop will equip participants with the tools and strategies needed to take ideas from system fiction to system fact.
We will also engage in the current climate as it relates to movements demanding social change, including Black Lives Matter.
