Academic Research and Scholarly Engagement
The Apiary and Honeybee Research
The apiary at the Meijer Campus is GVSU's first honey bee research facility. In addition to producing amazing honey, these hives and the students and faculty who tend them contribute to the scholarship and research of honeybees, pollen, and the environment. Learn more about GVSU bees at the GVSU Beekeepers' facebook page or by checking out their media coverage.
The Power Mobility Project
The Grand Valley Power Mobility Project is an interdisciplinary research and service project that seeks to provide power mobility training to children with multiple, severe disabilities who are not typically considered to be candidates for power mobility use. Check out the project's media coverage to learn more about the amazing work that this project has achieved.
