Students who are majoring in athletic training have raised money to give back to students by endowing a scholarship.

The scholarship money will help support a student in the master's of athletic training program who has excelled in the academic, clinical and leadership aspects of the program and plans to pursue a career in athletic training.

Brian Hatzel, faculty advisor for Iota Tau Alpha and professor of athletic training, said he is proud of the current members for voting to endow a scholarship that will benefit others, rather than choosing to use the money for their own personal professional development.
