to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name.

Students, faculty and staff at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health
Sciences and the Traverse City Center went pink May 6 in memory of
Stephanie Urbanawiz, a physician assistant studies major who died in
February after battling breast cancer.
The RPC Student Society, the PAS student organization, organized
the event.
Andrew Booth, assistant professor and chair of PAS, said
Urbanawiz’s classmates wanted to honor her memory and raise money for
a scholarship fund established in her name.
The fund, established by the Urbanawiz family and PAS program
will benefit Grand Valley’s Physician Assistant Studies department;

PAS students and faculty members at CHS were joined by
colleagues from the College of Health Professions and Kirkhof College
of Nursing who wore pink and helped raise money for the
scholarship.
