Blackboard ePortfolios provide an opportunity for students to capture and demonstrate their progress throughout a course or their academic career.  Students gather and present evidence of their work, knowledge, and skills learned over time. Faculty can use it for formative and summative assessment at either a course or a degree program level.  Students may even choose to share a snapshot of their ePortfolio with prospective employers as a means to demonstrate their accomplishments.
