All Community Outreach Week events have been cancelled.
The recent issues surrounding COVID-19 require us to adhere to best practices. For the safety and well-being of the GVSU community, all Community Outreach Weeks events scheduled for Saturday, March 21 - Saturday, March 28 have been canceled.

Beacon Food Forest is a public vegetable garden and edible landscape in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. The food grown there is used to supply those in need with a locally grown and sustainable nutrition. As they venture into a 1.5 acre expansion they'd like help with soil building and wall construction. Volunteering will be from 10am - 1pm. BFF will provide lunch, but please bring a small donation ($3 - $5). There is no official sign up through BFF, but please take a look at their website for more info on Permaculture and their overall mission!
