The GVSU Hospitality & Tourism Management (HTM) Alumni Chapter will once again be partnering with Michigan Cares for Tourism (MC4T) for Community Outreach Week. For this year’s project, we will refurbish an unused office building at Grand Rapids’ historic Oak Hill Cemetery. Volunteer tasks will include painting, purging unwanted items, cleaning, and restoring woodwork. The Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation (GRPR) Department is hoping to turn this underutilized space into functioning office space for local non-profits who work within the cemetery, and with your help we can make this a reality!
