Professor Stephanie Bender receives CLAS award

Affiliate Professor Stephanie Bender has received the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Teaching Excellence Award for Affiliate Faculty in the introductory level classes. Recipients of this award provide positive relationships and academic support, use highly effective practices in teaching, engage students and stimulate intellectual curiosity, create and foster a positive student learning environment, challenge students while providing the encouragement and support for student success and demonstrate growth as a teacher.
