Purpose

The purpose of our annual R.I.C.E (Realizing and Addressing Issues in Our Culture and Education) Conference is to give members of our organization, the local community, alumni, professors, high school and college students, and other organizations a chance to further expand their knowledge of the past and the current issues within Asian American Society. As an organization, our mission is to break stereotypes day by day and to promote Asian awareness and gain a better understanding of our many different cultures and issues. 

The theme for the 2020 R.I.C.E. Conference is "TBA".

The R.I.C.E Conference will be on Saturday, March 21st, 2020, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will be held at Grand Valley State University's Pew Campus at the Richard M. DeVos Center in downtown Grand Rapids. 

Description: A professional conference that discusses issues within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community through impactful keynote speakers and purposeful workshop sessions.
