Academic Resources

At the Women's Center, one of our core values is the importance of a learning community:

We value our connection to the academic setting, our role as a form of pedagogy for Women and Gender Studies students and faculty, and research on women's issues.

Through collaboration, the Women's Center has established relationships with many academic departments on campus. We encourage students and faculty from all disciplines to use our facilities and take advantage of our programming.

Women's Issues Research

For more information on the academic research and study of women's issues, GVSU offers a Women and Gender Studies minor. Check out the Women and Gender Studies Website.

The Women's Center also houses a Resource Library, catalogued through the GVSU Zumberge Library. For more information, please click here.

Academic Support and Resources

If you are seeking academic support, check out Advising Resources and Special Programs. This department provides a wide range of services and programs that support students' learning.
