Comprised of poetry, short fiction, and creative non-fiction, the journal provides a place for women's voices to emerge, be heard, and resonate. Past volumes have included works on subjects such as motherhood, marriage, and race, among many other issues. "In Our Own Words" is published annually. Future journal submissions should be emailed to the Women's Center along with the author's name, address, phone number, and email address. Also, please include a short author's note about the journal submission. Entries are due in February of each year. Check the Women's Center events calendar to find out the date for this year. Students from all majors and disciplines are encouraged to contribute their written works to be considered for the journal. Please stop by the Women's Center to read past issues of "In Our Own Words!"
