Women’s Center Ambassador


The Ambassador program was created to build a connection with students who want to help further the mission of the Women's Center. We are looking for eager and motivated students who have an interest in women and gender issues to present on behalf of the Women's Center at informational fairs and in classroom settings. Students are expected to attend meetings and volunteer at events and programs as appropriate.

Basic Requirements:                                                                                                                                
1. Knowledge of Women's Center services and programs. 

2. Willingness to serve as a representative for the Women's Center at various on-campus events.                                                                                                                                                3. Skills to actively engage students, faculty, and staff in the work of the Women's Center.

4. Ablility to connect with faculty and present and share information about the Women's Center to classes.

5. Commitment to meet with the volunteer coordinator for ongoing training.

6. Commitment to improving the lives of women on the campus through active service and activism.

7.Ability to volunteer at the Women's Center by helping with administrative tasks and functions.

If interested, fill out an Ambassador Application and return it to the Women's Center.
